The Committee inscribed Tubbataha Reef Marine Park under criteria (ii), (iii) and (iv) as one of the outstanding coral reefs in the region and encouraged the Philippine authorities to provide funds for the management of the site. The Delegate of the Philippines stated that they would do their utmost to ensure funding for the management of the site.
