The Conference of the Parties

1. Takes note of the compilation and synthesis of information received from Parties and observers on challenges in the implementation of the prior informed consent procedure of the Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal and on best practices, possible approaches, initiatives and views to improve the functioning of the procedure;
