Note by the Secretariat I. Introduction 1. In accordance with paragraph 5 of Article 5 of the Rotterdam Convention on the Prior Informed Consent Procedure for Certain Hazardous Chemicals and Pesticides in International Trade, the Secretariat had previously received notifications of final regulatory action for ethion that met the requirements of Annex I to the Convention, from at least two prior informed consent regions.
