The Global Youth Environment Assembly will convene as a space for young people to share their perspectives, solutions, and priorities as a contribution to the seventh session of the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA-7). The Youth Assembly will align with the UNEA-7 theme, ‘Advancing Sustainable Solutions for a Resilient Planet’.

The UN Environment Programme (UNEP) will convene the Assembly, which will bring together youth leaders, advocates, and policymakers from across the world. The 2025 Assembly will convene in two parts. The first part will take place from 29-30 November, followed by a second part that will meet on 7 December, directly before UNEA-7, which will convene from 8-12 December.

The Youth Assembly will serve as a space for young people to discuss and agree on a Global Youth Declaration for the Environment. The event will help amplify youth voices in advancing environmental multilateralism and sustainable solutions for a resilient planet.
