Bolivia is a Party to the Rotterdam Convention since 2003 and has made noteworthy efforts for its implementation. With the financial support of FAO’s regular programme, the Secretariat of the Convention delivers technical assistance to Designated National Authorities (DNAs) in Bolivia through a project that supports efforts in the implementation of the Rotterdam Convention and notably in their response to incidents involving severely hazardous pesticide formulations (SHPFs).
