The Rwanda Environment Management Authority requested a training on the Rotterdam Convention targeting relevant staff. The training will cover topics such as the key mechanisms and actors under the Convention, the listing of chemicals in Annex III, the prior informed consent (PIC) procedure, and mechanisms for information exchange. Moreover, the status of implementation of the Convention in Rwanda will be discussed.
