This Act amends the Flora and Fauna Act so as to adjust certain provisions to the European legislative framework regarding the authorization to hunt and kill whales, methods for the catching and killing of birds and other non-selective methods of the trapping of animals.
A permit is required to catch, kill or process on board whales. The Minister may attach conditions to permits.
