Council Directive 2002/89/EC amending Directive 2000/29/EC on protective measures against the introduction into the Community of organisms harmful to plants or plant products and against their spread within the Community.

The present Directive lays down amendments and addenda to Directive 2000/29/EC which sets out the Community plant health regime. Articles 1, 2 (1), 3, 10, 12, 13, 16, 18 and 21 shall be amended as set out in article 1 of this Directive. On the other hand, articles 7, 8, 9, 17 and 19 shall be repealed. Lastly, Annex VIIIa shall be inserted after Annex VIII.
