This Decree officially adopts the Regulation on the management of construction waste and on use of recycled building materials.
The aim of this Regulation is to establish the unique system for management and control over the collection, transport, disposal and treatment of construction waste; to implement specific requirements for the use of recycled building materials for the purpose of construction; to implement the requirements of direct management of such waste in the process of construction and removal of pf construction works; to prevent and limit air, water and soil pollution and to reduce the risk to human health and to the environment as result of the collection, treatment and transport of such waste materials; to encourage the recycling and utilization of the same in order to achieve the objectives of the Bulgarian Waste Management Law.
