This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture, which is composed of 25 articles, establishes, in accordance with the legislation of the European Community: (a) which substances must not be administered to animals of all species, livestock or aquatic animals, and which of these substances can be exceptionally administered to animals for therapeutic or zootechnical treatment; (b) how to handle the livestock that have been administered the substances specified above; (c) the monitoring of the presence of prohibited substances, residues and contaminating substances which could be harmful to human health in animals, animal products, animal feed and drinking water; (d) competences of breeders and individuals producing and processing livestock products, including authorities carrying out monitoring; (e) measures taken on the basis of monitoring results.
