The Member States shall require that analyses for official controls of feedingstuffs as regards their contents are carried out according to the methods described in the Annexes attached. In particular, Annex I regards the determination of moisture in animal and vegetable fats and oil, magnesium, crude fibre; Annex II concerns the determination of retinol, thiamine (vitamin B1, aneurine) as well as ascorbic acid and dehydroascorbic acid (vitamin C).
