This Law regulates the growth and production of breeding animals, farm animals' reproduction, trading of breeding animals, keeping of farm animals, the environment during the various phases of farm animals' life cycle, quality of feed and products of animal origin, structure and implementation of breeding pure-bred animals and other issues important to the efficiency and the promotion of livestock.
The provisions of this Law are related to the raising of cattle, pigs, goats, sheep, horses, donkeys, rabbits, poultry, bees and other species that have an economic purpose.
Production of genetic material and transfer of embryos can be performed by legal entities to which the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry issued the approval.
