The plan provides for rescue permits for dugong (sect. 4), for restrictions for permits and licences for other protected wildlife that characterizes the habitat of dugong (sect. 5), it prescribed the procedure to be followed in case of accidental taking of dugong (sect. 6) and for dealing with sick, injured or dead dugong.
