This Regulation, consisting of 47 sections divided into five Parts and completed by nine Schedules, implements the Nature Conservation Act 1992. It provides for the protection of wildlife and regulates the management of species that are presumed extinct (sect. 6), endangered (sect. 11), vulnerable (sect. 16), rare (sect. 21), near threatened (sect. 26), or least concern (sect. 31), international (sect. 36) and prohibited (sect. 41). The regulation is completed by nine Schedules: extinct in the wild wildlife, endangered wildlife, vulnerable wildlife, rare wildlife, near threatened wildlife, least concern wildlife, international wildlife, prohibited wildlife and dictionnary.
