This Plan, consisting of six Parts and done under the Water Act 2000, defines the management plan for the Great Artesian Basin. The Plan is divided into the following Parts: Preliminary; Plan area and water to which plan applies; Outcomes for sustainable management of water; Performance indicators and objectives; Strategies for achieving outcomes (surface water); Strategies for achieving outcomes (subartesian water); Strategies for achieving outcomes (general); Monitoring and reporting requirements and Implementing and amending this plan. The Plan is completed by six schedules: Plan areas; Management areas; Gatton–Esk Road implementation area; Management areas and management units; General reserve and Dictionnary.
