The Federal Republic of Germany is a Contracting Party not only to the tockholm Convention, but also to the POPs Protocol under CLRTAP. There are also a number of Community regulations on POPs. All these commitments have been incorporated into the following summary description of the current situation and planned action on POPs. To date, the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Reactor Safety has held two meetings in Bonn (11 November 2004, follow-up meeting on 15 November 2005) with the principal interest groups (representatives of the Länder (German Federal States)
