It is my honor and privilege to transmit and endorse out Revised and Updated National Implementation Plan (NIP) for the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants to the Conference of Parties (COP). This updated NIP not only reflects the commitment of the Philippines to its obligations to the Stockholm Convention but more importantly, its commitment to the protection of human health and the environment through the reduction and elimination of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs).
