The NIP identifies the actions that Sri Lanka has to take in order to fulfil our obligations and responsibilities towards successful implementation of the Convention. The inventories of the three groups of POPs chemicals which were compiled through the NIP preparation process provide a good insight into the scope and scale of the situation in the country.
