If you are an exporter of paints and coating or you use specific flame retardants or plasticizers in your products, you have to make sure that your products do not contain substances which are prohibited, such as short chained chlorinated Paraffins (SCCPs). Access to the Dutch market will be denied if your product does not comply with the legislative requirements set in the EU and the additional stricter requirements set by The Netherlands.
