This Decree of the Ministry of Environment, which is composed of 21 paragraphs and three Annexes, establishes the procedure for determination of wastewater pollution, measurement of the amount of pollution and measurement of the volume of discharged wastewater into surface water. The procedure for determining the pollution contained in wastewater includes sampling, treatment, preservation and transport, analysis of samples and evaluation of the results of this analysis. Technical requirements for sampling and treatment prior to chemical analysis are specified in Annex 1. Pollutant indicators and analytical methods for determining the concentration of pollution for the purposes of charges for the discharge of wastewater into surface water are given in Annex 2.
