In exercise of the powers conferred by paragraphs 53(2)(b) and (c) of the Feed Act 2009, The Regulations establish the modality to obtain a license for import feed and feed additives.
No person shall import, (including the importation from Sabah and Sarawak) any feed or feed additive unless that person holds a valid licence. The Regulations further make previsions for, inter alia, the application, issuance, renewal of licences, and penalties.
