This regulation aims to prevent the spread of Bluetongue disease serotypes 3 and 8 in cloven-hoofed animals, excluding pigs. It respects the Swiss laws applicable in Liechtenstein, particularly regarding animal disease control. The Swiss Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (BLV) regulation governs the import and export of these animals as well as their reproductive materials. It also regulates the use of semen, ova, and embryos in suspected or confirmed disease cases. The text consists of 5 Articles.
