This Act amends 79 points of the Water Act. The Act amends provisions concerning detection of the quantity and quality of surface waters (art. 4 of the amended Act) and supplements the new articles. Art. 4a provides details on the assessment of the status, quantity, regime and quality of surface waters. Art. 4b describes detection of the occurrence, quantity, regime and quality of groundwater. Art. 4c provides details on the assessment of the status of groundwater. Art. 4d sets out provisions concerning restriction of ownership. The Act establishes also provisions concerning planning of river basins and correct areas of river basins, specialties of satisfying environmental objectives, and discharges of waste waters and specific waters into the groundwater.
