The present Act regulates matters concerning breeding and preservation of genetic resources, evaluation of the breeding value, keeping of the livestock register and control of livestock breeding. The Act is composed of the following Sections: General provisions (sec. 1); Evaluation of the breeding value of livestock (sec. 2); Books and registers of livestock (sec. 3); Reproduction of animals (sec. 4); Control of breeding and reproduction of animals (sec. 5); Conditions of the participation of horses in competitions (sec. 6); Rules of cooperation in controlling obeying of zootechnical provisions (sec. 7); Criminal provisions (sec. 8); Changing, transitional and final provisions (sec. 9).
