The present Act is composed of the following eight Sections: General provisions (sect. 1); Register of branded livestock (sect. 2); Register of equine animals (sect. 3); Livestock identification (sect. 4); List of providers (sect. 5); Supervision and inspection concerning livestock identification and registration (sect. 6); Criminal provisions (sect. 7); Transitional and final provisions (sect. 8). The Act establishes: (1) principles of livestock identification and registration, including mode of giving identifiers of herd bases and animals, and listing and removing earring providers from the official list of providers; (2) tasks of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture, Veterinary Inspection organs and other entities included in the System for Livestock Identification and Registration.
