Amendments concern the Protection and Management Plan for national parks, the application sphere of Chapter 6 (Protection of Species), international trade in threatened plant and animal species, and penalties for prescribed offences. The new section 44a prescribes that importation and exportation of animal and plant species covered by Council Regulation No. 338/97 shall only take place at approved border entry posts.
