This Regulation lays down rules for the control, monitoring, surveillance and restrictions on movement of animals within the provisions of the Regulation on measures for the control and eradication of bluetongue disease (Official Gazette 73/2009).
Primary outbreak and an outbreak of the bluetongue disease has to be reported to the Animal Disease Notification System (ADNS) of the European Commission, using coded forms and codes.
Veterinary Administration informs the Commission of the restricted zones and changing situations in these areas, within 24 hours.
The movement of animals within the same restricted zone in which circulates the same serotype or serotypes of bluetongue virus is allowed for the animals that should be moved and that on the day of transport do not show clinical signs of bluetongue disease.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
