This Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, which is composed of 50 articles, establishes: (1) rules for placing batteries and accumulators on the market, especially the prohibition of placing on the market of batteries and accumulators containing dangerous substances; (2) special rules for collecting, processing, recycling and disposal of waste batteries and accumulators; (3) the system of preparing operational programmes of environmental protection in relation to promoting the collection and recycling of waste batteries and accumulators.
