This Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, which is composed of ten articles, establishes provisions concerning implementation of the Regulation No. 850/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council on persistent organic pollutants. The competent authorities for the implementation of the above regulation are the Ministry of Chemicals and the Ministry of Environment. Art. 3 specifies tasks performed by the Ministry of Chemicals, and Art. 4 describes tasks performed by the Ministry of Environment. Supervision of these tasks is performed by the inspector in charge of the chemicals and by the inspector in charge of the environment (Art. 6-8).
