This Regulation establishes goals necessary to reduce the spread of zoonoses and zoonotic agents, for the purpose of reduction of Salmonella Enteritidis and Salmonella Typhimurium in broiler chickens, and a reduction, in the maximum percentage of flocks of broilers remaining positive for Salmonella Enteritidis and Salmonella Typhimurium, to 1% or less than 31 December 2011.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
