This Regulation hereby officially prohibits the import and use (on the territory of the Republic of Montenegro) of plastic materials and articles of polyamides and melamines (only if originating in the People's Republic of China and/or Hong Kong) that come in contact with food (in order to prevent several negative effects on food and foodstuff in terms of food safety).
This Regulation further sets various specific rules related to the inspection, official controls and physical examination of the above mentioned materials.
This Regulation transposes the rules contained in the Commission Regulation (EU) No 284/2011 of 22 March 2011 on the establishment of special conditions and detailed procedures for import of plastic kitchenware from polyamide and melamine origin or delivered from the People's Republic of China and the from Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong, China.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
