This Regulation determines the correct, safe, controlled and sustainable use of the surface waters and water bodies present on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.
This Regulation further stipulates the rules regarding the terms and conditions for issuance of permits for use of surface waters; several administrative requirements; rules for management and use of dams and provisions related to activities of diverse water facilities/water supply sites (the provisions of this text are not meant for the use of surface water bodies for wastewater discharging).
