The present Act lays down provisions relating to the authorization of seeds, planting material and new plant varieties. They must be first and foremost homogenous, distinguishable, constant and new. The text consists of 63 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: General provisions on seeds (1); Seed varieties (2); Tasks of the Federal Seeds Office (3); Tribunal proceedings, duty to give information, transmission of data and penalties (4); Final provisions (5). One Annex is enclosed.
