The present Regulation establishes the national framework for implementing and supplementing EU Regulation 2023/1804 on the deployment of alternative fuel infrastructure. It defines responsibilities for various authorities, including the Swedish Energy Agency, Transport Agency, Consumer Agency, and others, to oversee compliance with requirements related to charging and refueling stations, technical specifications, hydrogen quality, user information, and data accessibility. The regulation also assigns roles for coordinating with EU member states, managing data access points, and analyzing the impact of electric vehicle charging on the energy system. Additionally, it allows authorities to issue regulations on pricing information and fees for supervision.
