The meeting will be opened by Dominique Bally Kpokro and Terry Keating, co-Chairs of the Open-ended Scientific Group, followed by welcoming remarks by Monika Stankiewicz, Executive Secretary of the Minamata Convention on Mercury. The meeting will include discussions on the overview of the effectiveness evaluation framework, a plan for the monitoring data compilation and summary, plans for the compilation and summary of available emissions and releases data, and the way forward for the plan for data analysis.
