At this session, the Secretariat will present the intersessional work on mercury waste thresholds, as well as the information from national reports on the management and disposal of mercury waste. The Secretariat of the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm (BRS) Conventions and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Global Mercury Partnership will also provide updates on their work on the management of mercury waste.
