The common organization of the market in wine has been established under Regulation (EC) No. 1493/1999. Title VII of that Regulation is devoted to trade with third countries. This Regulation has been adopted in order to lay down implementing rules in matter of trade with third countries as regards wine and wine products. The Regulation is composed of eight Chapters and eleven Annexes. Chapter I deals with import and export licences. Further provisions are concerned with trade issues such as entry price arrangements and export refunds. Chapter V regards certificates and analysis reports for wine, grape juice and must on import. In particular, article 21 defines the content of the analysis report. Chapter VI lays down analytical derogations for certain imported wines.
