The Conference of the Parties

Noting the priority areas for action recognized in decision SC-11/17, on effectiveness evaluation, as they relate to specific exemptions,

1. Notes, pursuant to paragraph 9 of Article 4 of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants, that as there are no longer any Parties registered for specific exemptions for the production and use of short-chain chlorinated paraffins from 18 December 2023, no new registrations may be made with respect thereto as of that date;
