This Decree adopts the Ordinance on specific requirements for dairy products, which is based on the provisions of the national Law on food, and which here determines: specific requirements aimed for dairy products; requirements meant for diary deriving products (products containing milk in its composition); requirements for labelling and offering such products, as well as for labelling of foods containing milk in their composition. Article 2 sets the exceptions. Detailed requirements for the composition of dairy products are laid down in article 24. This text further indicates several European Union reference legislation.
