There are hereby laid down certain amendments to the Vegetable Propagation and Planting Material Regulations of 2004. The new definition of "regulated non-quarantine pests" is added in Regulation 3. Items 4 and 5 of Part B of Schedule II are substituted: item 4 requires vegetable propagating and planting material to be found, on visual inspection, free from all pests listed in Schedule III and from pests other than those listed in Schedule III. Item 5 requires compliance with the requirements concerning Union quarantine pests, protected zone quarantine pests and regulated non-quarantine pests provided for in Regulation (EU) 2016/2031 and in the implementing acts adopted. Schedule III to the principal regulations is substituted by a new Schedule, enclosed.
