Event description
The 2020 ILO-UNICEF global estimates show that progress against child labour has stagnated in the last four years. Today, 160 million boys and girls (almost 1 in 10 of all children worldwide) are engaged in child labour. In May 2022, the Fifth Global Conference on Child Labour concluded with a Call to Action, which places ending child labour in agriculture as the second top priority.
