This Directive amends Directive 2003/90/EC by replacing Annexes I and II. Annex I lays down the list of species referred to in article 1(2)(a) of the amended Directive, which must comply with Community Plant Variety Office test protocols. Annex II concerns the list of species referred to in article 1(2)(b) of the amended Directive, which must comply with Union for the Protection of Plant Varieties test guidelines.
