This Directive shall apply to plastic materials and articles intended to become in contact with foodstuffs. The migration level of the constituents of the materials and articles referred to in article 1 into or onto foodstuffs must not exceed the limits laid down in the lists of substances whose use is authorized. In Annex are set basic rules for testing migration in stimulants.
