This Decree lays down measures to prevent the outbreak and spread of the harmful organism Thaumetopoea pityocampa (Den. et Schiff). The implementation of these measures is compulsory in those areas which are considered to be susceptible to the organism, pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 214 of 2005.
