This Regulation aims at safe transportation of hazardous substances by road in accordance with the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road. This regulation sets out procedures and principles of rights, obligations, responsibilities and working conditions of all real and legal persons involved in the consigning, loading, unloading, packaging and carriage of hazardous substances. Furthermore this Regulation sets requirements for vehicle crews, equipment, operation and documentation, as well as requirements concerning the construction and approval of vehicles.
