The second short national reports pursuant to Article 21 of the Minamata Convention are due by 31 December 2023. The report covers the reporting period from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2022. With the deadline for the reports coming up soon, the Secretariat has prepared a review session on completing the second short reports. The session provides information about the main steps to prepare for and submit the second short reports, accessing the Online Reporting Tool and updates made to the Online Reporting Tool to support the Parties. The session will also briefly touch on the reporting format changes that COP-5 approved that will be reflected in the next reporting cycle.
