Definition(s)

The depositary collects information about participant's signature, ratification, acceptance, approval, accession and withdrawal. It should provide information about the date on which the convention will come into force in accordance with its provisions, as well as provide information about amendments, new annexes and protocols adopted with respect to the convention.
