This ordinance ensures the safety and quality of drinking water through comprehensive regulations and standards in light of implementation of the Directive (EU) 2020/2184 on the quality of water intended for human consumption. The Regulation specifies the application scope, definitions, and technical standards references for water quality and sets out general, microbiological, chemical, and radiological requirements for drinking water. The text further details the obligations for planning, construction, maintenance, and operation of water supply systems and introduces a risk-based approach to managing water supply systems.The text consists of 72 Articles divided into 16 Chapters.
