Starting with the entry into force of this emergency ordinance and until the end of 2020, during the period of teaching activities, preschoolers and students from 150 state pre-university education units, shall be granted, free of charge, food assistance, consisting of a food package or a hot meal per day, within the limit of a daily value of 10 lei/beneficiary, VAT included. To maintain the health of preschoolers and students, within the pilot program, only food products obtained in authorized/registered sanitary-veterinary and food safety units will be distributed, in accordance with the provisions of the sanitary-veterinary and food safety legislation in force.
