This Notification inserts Article 5/D to the principal Notification as regards information obligation for consumer products containing parts of animal origin. These products shall be marketed by including information on the label, packaging, or a document accompanying the product about which animal the part is obtained from. The information shall be provided in Turkish in a manner that can be easily seen, read and does not mislead consumers before the purchase.
The provisions of this Notification are enforced by the Ministry of Trade.
